Cardrunners relaunch affiliate program

August 26, 2010

Enthusiasts of CardRunners, a site dedicated to poker training, now have another reason to rejoice. CardRunners, one of the training industry’s leaders, has now finalized the introduction of a fully-fledged affiliate program, essentially designed to grow its user base even further. This actually comes on the backdrop of the realization of the fact that no other affiliate program ever existed on this site, at least for the period of last six months.
On matters of compensation, Card Runners’ one-size-fits-all affiliate program awards $75 to the respective affiliate if a player signs up for membership. This fixed fee is indeed paid when the users go clicking through the banners provided by CardRunners. As if that’s not enough, text links will obviously be made available for those websites that don’t have intense banner advertising. According to CardRunners, if you have a site that in some way is affiliated with poker, there’s actually no obstacle to joining this particular program. This is because you will not only get huge benefits from the site, but you will also receive the promised compensation.
CardRunners have been behind many innovations and are the architects responsible for the establishment of Truly Free Poker Training, which was actually started in January 2009.The program, which initially offered free training on CardRunners and StoxPoker, now solely focuses on Card Runners. Benefits include a 25% incremental membership for the existing members. It is important to note that points are not actually removed from a person’s account of Full Tilt Poker so as to redeem free training.
In the past, CardRunners had forged varied affiliate arrangements with each partner, creating a patchwork group of promoters. Currently, every old partner must actually reapply in order to become an affiliate. Each applicant is carefully vetted by CardRunners officials. The new program, despite being in the formative stages has caught on like wildfire. It is indeed a fact, as Maier put it to Poker News Daily that CardRunners had managed to quadruple the number of affiliates since launching the revamped program. The referring sites are paid out on the first of every month through PayPal.
Other news from CardRunners indicates that the site is preparing to announce the finalists in its Video Challenge. This is the challenge that panned out in June. According to CardRunners, one finalist will be revealed per day, with the final one coming on Friday. CardRunners members will begin voting on the person thought should be contest’s champion. The champion scoops a $5,000 cash reward.
Just recently, the inaugural poker video of Jason “Nikachu” Zaczek’s was the first finalist to be introduced. One video per day will be announced on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday prior to the beginning of voting.
The second place submission in the video contest will actually go home with a whopping $2,500, while the third placed will go home with $1,000. The fourth video’s creator is to receive a prize of $500. The fifth will get a deluxe poker chip set that is worth $175.
